We Made It...

to Texas! Emma and I arrived in Texas on Tuesday and we got to see our new home today. It looked just like the pictures. Emma and I had not seen the house in person, only Barry had - he did a good job finding our home. I love it! We've met a few of our neighbors and they seem really nice. It feels good to be meeting people and connecting with others.

We sign the papers tomorrow and the moving truck should be arriving on Friday. It will be nice to set up our home and have all our things back in place.

I already know where the grocery store, Target, the mall, dry cleaners, movie theater, PF Changs, and the hospital are. On Sunday, my mother-in-law fell and broke her hip. She had surgery this morning and they did a partial hip replacement. Surgery went well, and they expect her to be sitting up tomorrow and walking by the afternoon.

I can't believe it...

I'm blogging. Who would of have thought. Certainly not me.

I was thinking this would be a good way to keep everyone up to date on what is happening with the Calvert's since we are making the leap and moving to Texas. Yes, this coming weekend we are packing up and heading to the Lone Star state.
