Horse Back Riding...

A few weeks ago Emma went to a birthday party for her friend and they did horseback riding! This was Emma's first time on a horse and while it took some encouragement from the "handler" Emma did great.

The pictures are out of order...the last picture was the "handler" helping Emma get use to the horse, Summer, and she rode with her a little then slipped off the back and let Emma go on her own. The whole experience almost brought tears to her mama's eyes.

Notice her cowboy boots. "Thank you Grammy and Papa for my boots."

There she is on her own.

This was Emma first getting on and getting encouragement. Now Emma wants her birthday party at this place so she can horseback riding again.

Country Roads...

Barry and I had a date on Saturday. We had heard about a neighborhood about 15 miles north of where we are in Spring. So, we thought we'd go for a little adventure and see what was out that way. This is what we saw. Look at those houses. They are beautiful. You buy your lot and then build your own custom house. Some people have an acre, others have more. It was very peaceful out there.

Those are some good front lawns for playing a game of croquet.
