Thankful Thursday...

O.K. I'm going to start a new thing...Thankful Thursday. I want to make sure I focus on all the blessings in my life because when things don't go my way, I still want to have a thankful heart.

So, as I was thinking about it today, I was not feeling very thankful and quite honestly didn't even want to post. You see, we have found a leak in the downstairs master bedroom/bathroom. The carpet is damp and Barry has pulled it back and we should be having a plumber out tomorrow. Ugh. This is our first experience with a leak on slab foundation; our other homes have been raised foundation and thus have been very thankful. Now we get to experience carpet being pulled up, tile being broken up and who knows what else, to try and fix this.

However, I am suppose to be thankful right? So, I am thankful for....

~ Our home (even though...)
~ Good health
~ Friends we've made in Texas
~ Being able to fly back to CA to see family and friends (especially my sister)
~ A good cup of coffee (I need this every morning)
~ Sunshine
~ A husband whose handy with tools, and can fix just about anything
~ Being able to play on a tennis league
