Our festivities started yesterday (Saturday) when we went to the community Easter Egg Hunt at the elementary school, which is in walking distance from our home. They're must have been 1,000 kids for the 25,000 eggs they had on the baseball field. Emma found her friend from preschool, Jennifer, so they grabbed they're eggs together. Emma also enjoyed the bounce house and getting to see Gloria, the doll, in the ambulance. All day she kept saying, "The EMT told me I could help him anytime." It was such a fun morning. Later we ran a few errands and then got ready for church. We went to The WoodsEdge for the 4:00 service. We haven't decided on a church yet, but we've been there three times and really like the pastor, his teaching style and the worship.
Today, (Sunday), Emma found her basket on the kitchen table and has been enjoying the candy and the purse she gets to color with markers. Later today, we'll go over to Dave and Norma's for the afternoon dinner and coloring eggs.
I hope you all have a wonderful Easter and take time to reflect on the significance of the day. We love you!
